Adrails vs Pipeboard: two ways to run ads from an AI assistant
Pipeboard connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI clients to Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and more ad platforms through MCP, with a free plan and scoped tokens. Adrails covers Meta and Google Ads only, adds its own agents and business data, and turns every change an assistant prepares into a proposal you approve in Adrails.

01
Choose Pipeboard for breadth and a low entry price
Pipeboard documents MCP servers for Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Pinterest, Snap and Reddit Ads, plus Google Analytics, Search Console and Merchant Center. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, n8n and Codex, and its Meta Ads server is source-available on GitHub.
Its free plan includes 30 AI tool executions a week and two ad account slots. Pro is $29.90 a month with three slots, Premium $99 with ten and Agency $199 with twenty-five, each extra slot at $10 a month.
02
How each handles changes
Pipeboard creates every new campaign paused by default and lets you limit a token to read-only access, to chosen tools on Pro and above, or to chosen ad accounts on the Agency plan. We found no separate approval step for budget or status updates in its guides.
In Adrails no tool creates, pauses, switches on or rebudgets anything by itself. The assistant receives a proposal and a link, and the change applies only after an owner or admin approves it in Adrails, which reads the platform again first.
03
Where each fits
Pick Pipeboard when you need many ad platforms in one assistant, or a free start. Pick Adrails when the work is Meta and Google Ads and you want each change reviewed in one place, next to Shopify, Stripe, Klaviyo and other connected data, with the same agents available inside the app.
Adrails plans start at $149 a month with unlimited ad accounts, and an MCP tool call uses no agent credit.
