Get started
Sign in with Google, set up your workspace, connect Meta and finish the Get started checklist on Home.
Open Sign in and choose Continue with Google. A new Adrails account is created with Google only. Once your account exists, you can also sign in with a code sent by email or with a password.
If someone invited you to their workspace, open the link they shared. It asks you to sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to. See Workspaces and members.
Set up your workspace
The first time you sign in, Adrails creates a workspace and opens its setup. Each step can be left with Back or Skip setup.
What best describes this workspace? Ecommerce brand, SaaS company, Mobile app, Agency or Other. Your answer decides which integrations and setup steps come first.
What should Adrails help you do first? Pick the goal closest to yours.
How did you hear about Adrails? For our records only.
Pick the plan that fits. Choose a paid plan and pay by card through Stripe, or choose Start free preview. Preview opens the real workspace with 3 ads, 10 agent credits and read-only access to your ad accounts, with no card. See Plans and billing.
Connect your ad accounts. Choose Connect Meta and approve access on Facebook. You can also choose Skip for now and connect later from Ad accounts.
When setup ends, Adrails opens Campaigns on your most active ad account and starts its first sync. If you did not connect an account, it opens Home.
Only the workspace owner is taken through setup. People who join an existing workspace go straight to Home.
Connect Meta
- Open Ad accounts in the sidebar and choose Add account.
- Choose Facebook. Facebook asks you to approve access. Approve the Pages, ad accounts, pixels and catalogs you want Adrails to read.
- Back in Adrails, the ad accounts you approved are listed. Use the switch in the In use column to start or stop using each one.
Adrails asks Meta for these permissions: ads_read, ads_management, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement and business_management. An ad must name the Page it runs from, so the Page permissions are needed to create ads. See Meta Ads for what is read and how to disconnect.

Finish the Get started checklist
Home shows a Get started checklist until its three steps are done. Priorities appear on Home only once it is complete.
| Step | Done when |
|---|---|
| Connect an ad account | The workspace has an ad account in use. |
| Connect a revenue source | The workspace has Shopify, Stripe, RevenueCat or Triple Whale connected. |
| Run your first account review | You have started a conversation with the agent in this workspace. |
The wording of the second step follows your business type: Connect your store and revenue sources for ecommerce, Connect Stripe for SaaS, Connect RevenueCat for a mobile app, Connect a client's store or billing for an agency, and Connect a revenue source otherwise.
The revenue source step is required. Without one, Adrails can only judge your ads on what the platforms report. With one, results are judged on orders, revenue and subscriptions. See Integrations.
Only these four count, because they are the ones that tell Adrails what the business earned:
- Shopify: orders and sales.
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- RevenueCat: app revenue and subscriptions.
- Triple Whale: sales and net profit of your store.
PostHog, Klaviyo and Google Drive are useful beside them but do not complete the step: Adrails reads product event counts from PostHog, the revenue Klaviyo credits to its own emails, and files from Drive, none of which is what the business earned.
Choosing Run your first account review writes a review request in the message box. It names only the sources you connected. Nothing is sent until you press send.
Watch for
- Only owners and administrators can connect or disconnect ad accounts and integrations.
- The first review step stays disabled until an ad account is connected.
- The first review step is personal: a teammate's conversation does not complete it for you.
