Adrails Docs

Shopify

Connect your Shopify store so results are judged on orders and revenue, not only on what the ad platforms count.

Shopify gives Adrails your orders, customers, products and store analytics. They appear next to your ad spend in Analysis, feed the agent's answers about revenue, and let the Tracking tab of a campaign show what the customers it brought are worth.

Connect

  1. Open Integrations and choose Shopify.
  2. Copy the address of your Shopify admin from your browser, such as admin.shopify.com/store/your-id, and paste it in Paste that address here.
  3. Approve the access Shopify asks for.

What Adrails reads

PermissionData
read_ordersOrders, refunds and their status
read_customersCustomers and their order history
read_productsProducts, prices and inventory
read_reportsSessions, conversion rate and the checkout funnel

Orders arrive in real time through Shopify webhooks, and are reconciled every 15 minutes. Customers and products are read every hour, store analytics every 6 hours.

What it is used for

  • Analysis: sessions, net sales, orders, conversion rate, average order and the store funnel, next to ad spend.
  • The agent: revenue, orders, customers and products when you ask about them.
  • A campaign's Tracking tab: the customers each ad brought and their lifetime spend.
  • Automations: templates such as Best sellers and Ads against store.

Watch for

  • Customer email addresses are turned into a one-way fingerprint before they are stored. Adrails keeps no readable email address of your customers.
  • Revenue is kept in each store's own currency and never converted.
  • Triple Whale needs exactly one connected Shopify store.
  • Uninstalling the Adrails app from Shopify ends the connection.
