Stripe
Connect Stripe with a read-only restricted key to bring customers, payments and subscriptions next to your ad spend.
Stripe gives Adrails your customers, payments, refunds and subscriptions. For a subscription business, that is what an ad is really worth: the revenue and the subscriptions it brought, not only the sign-up the platform counted.
Connect
- Open Integrations and choose Stripe.
- Choose Create a restricted key in Stripe. Stripe opens with the key named Adrails and the read permissions below already selected.
- Create the key, copy it (
rk_live_...), and paste it in Paste the key here.
Keep the key active: Adrails uses it to refresh your data.
What Adrails reads
| Stripe permission | Data |
|---|---|
| Accounts | Read |
| Charges and Refunds | Read |
| Customers | Read |
| Subscriptions | Read |
| Prices | Read |
Payments are read every 15 minutes, subscriptions every 30 minutes, customers every hour.
What it is used for
- The agent: active subscriptions, trials, MRR and ARR, collected payments and refunds, and customers by billing cadence.
- A campaign's Tracking tab: the customers each ad brought and what they pay.
Watch for
- The key is read-only. Adrails never charges, refunds or changes anything in Stripe.
- A test key (
rk_test_...) works too, and reads your test data. - Adrails' own billing also runs on Stripe, but it is separate from this connection.
